The Protocol

The protocol

One drink. One protocol. One gear.

The drink supports the chemistry. The protocol builds the habit. Run them together and flow stops being something that happens to you and becomes something you can call. Here is exactly how it works, minute by minute.

01 / What is in the can

Four actives. Zero sugar. No filler.

Every ingredient earns its place by doing a job in the flow cycle. Nothing is in here for the label. The dose is the dose that works, paired so the parts carry each other.

A matte-black Drink Feel Flow can with an acid-lime accent stripe and the FLOW wordmark, lit against a near-black studio background.
Flow / 250ml / deep work fuel
  • L-theanine + caffeine, 100mg : 90mg The calm-focus pairing. Theanine smooths the caffeine into a curve, so you get the alertness without the jitter or the slump.
  • L-tyrosine, 500mg Raw material for dopamine and norepinephrine, the chemicals the struggle phase burns fastest under load.
  • Alpha-GPC, 200mg Cholinergic support that feeds acetylcholine for sustained concentration across a full block.
  • Electrolytes, zero sugar Sodium, potassium and magnesium to hold hydration and focus for hours, with nothing to crash off.

Why the pairing matters

Caffeine on its own is a hit and a slump. L-theanine taken alongside it changes the shape of the curve, trading the spike for a long, level plateau. That plateau is the deep-work window. The other three actives are there to feed the cycle underneath it, so the window is not just longer, it is cleaner.

Why zero sugar

Sugar gives you a second spike to crash off and a second slump to fight through, usually right when your afternoon block should start. Flow is built on a curve, not a sequence of hits. Sugar would undo the whole design.

What is not in it

No taurine theatre, no proprietary blend hiding the doses, no kitchen-sink list of twenty herbs at a milligram each. Four actives, doses on the can, nothing to hide.

02 / Dosing and timing

Eighteen minutes is not a slogan.

It is the window between the first sip and the formula coming fully online. Drink it too late and you are still climbing when you should be locked. Drink it on time and the gear shift lands as you sit down.

T minus 18

Drink the can

One Flow, finished in a couple of minutes. Then set the task up while the formula comes online. Do not start the work yet. The window is the on-ramp.

T minus 0

Start the block

You sit down as the gear engages. The struggle phase is shorter because the chemistry is already moving with you, not against you.

+ 90 min

Hold the window

One can carries a single deep block of roughly ninety minutes. That is the unit. Not all day, not on a drip, one block done properly.

Daily cap

Once, maybe twice

Built for your one or two deep sessions a day, before the blocks that matter most. Used that way there is no tolerance creep and no crash to manage.

03 / The four-step protocol

Trigger. Lock. Hold. Land.

The drink is half of it. This is the other half. Four moves that turn a good afternoon into a repeatable gear you can call on command.

  1. Step 1

    Trigger

Drink one Flow eighteen minutes before the work. Pick the single task that matters today and write it down in one line. Close every other tab, app and window. The countdown becomes the cue, and the cue trains the habit.

  2. Step 2

    Lock

Ninety minutes, one thing, no switching. When the struggle phase bites, and it will, do not reach for the exit. The formula is carrying the climb. Your only job is to stay in the room until the gear catches.

  3. Step 3

    Hold

Stay in the gear. When attention dips, and it will dip, breathe and return to the line you wrote down. Do not refresh a feed to reset. The window is yours to keep, and every return makes the next one easier.

  4. Step 4

    Land

Stop on a clean edge, ideally mid-thought so tomorrow has a handle. No crash, no fog, no debt to repay. Note where you got to, step away, and let the recovery phase do its work. Then do it again.

The daily shape

The simplest version is one block a day, in your sharpest window, protected like a meeting you cannot move. Most people find that is mid-morning. If you run a second, leave real recovery between them, a walk, a meal, daylight, not another can.

Make it a cue, not a crutch

The drink works on day one. The protocol is what compounds. After a couple of weeks the ritual itself starts triggering the state, and the formula is doing less of the lifting. That is the goal, not dependence.

The card ships with it

Every starter run includes the protocol card, the four steps and the timing on something you keep on the desk. The drink and the card are the product. One without the other is half the result.

The countdown is the cue. The block is the work.

The protocol, in one line

Ready

Run your first block.

A twelve-can starter run, plus the full protocol card. Find the gear once and you will not want to work without it.
